Drake Takes to Instagram to Send Lil Wayne Birthday Wishes

Following on from new music shared last week by Landon Collins on the platform, Drake has sent Lil Wayne birthday wishes via Instagram. Wayne — who turned 35 yesterday and has bounced back from recent health scares in true Weezy fashion — is well known for being instrumental at the early stages of Drake’s career, with Toronto’s finest paying respects by posting a picture of his Young Money mentor in an OVO hoodie and the following caption:
“Happy Birthday bossssssy! Thank you for the endless tools and the inspiration! I would have been lost at how to maneuver this game without watching you do it first. I remember when they told you that it was impossible to build a skate ramp on your roof…and then I came back and you were skating on your roof. Please never change. Love for life.”
Drake’s last appearance on HYPEBEAST had him ranking on the list of highest paid Hip-Hop acts of 2017, which is also probably worthy of some celebration.
