YG & DJ Quik Clash Over "My N*gga"
“Run me my money.”

DJ Quik is claiming that he is the person responsible for the recording and engineering of YG‘s massively-popular 2013 single “My N*gga.” Released as the lead single for YG’s debut studio album My Krazy Life, “My N*gga” featured Rich Homie Quan and Jeezy, both of whom received full credit for their contributions to the record. According to DJ Quik, he never received any credit for his work on the track, and now he wants his piece of the song’s success. DJ Quik took to Twitter and Instagram to air out his grievances regarding the song — you can run through his since-deleted tweets here. Earlier today, YG also sent out the following response to Quik via Twitter:

Let’s see how this drama develops. Most recently, YG dropped a video for his Still Brazy track “Word is Bond” and dropped a huge remix to another high-profile single of his.
