In honor of DIY fan culture.

After announcing the collaboration alongside the launch of its “Fan Club” collection, Danish label Wood Wood has officially unveiled its latest collaboration with Vans. The new release follows the “FOREVER NOW/NOW FOREVER” joint drop at the end of last year, and focuses on the Vans Era silhouette.

The silhouette used is the original version of the low top canvas, shoe, chosen because it has a slightly thicker sole unit than the regular Era. Wood Wood has wrapped the shoe in a white/off-white colorway, with red Vans flag branding. The stand-out feature, however, is the VANS FANS lettering on the outsole. The imperfect printing and slightly tilted letters of the text is a nod to the DIY spirit of fan culture. The Vans Fans sneakers will drop at all Wood Wood stores — including the web store — on August 30, before releasing worldwide on September 6.
