Travis Scott's 'Astroworld' Surpasses Drake's 'Scorpion' for Billboard 200 Top Spot
Ending ‘Scorpion’s five-week reign.
Over the weekend, Travis Scott‘s Astroworld took the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart, surpassing Drake’s impressive five-week run with Scorpion.
Astroworld managed to climb to the top having moved 537,000 equivalent album units in its first week with 270,000 being traditional album sales, according to Billboard. So far Scott’s Astroworld marks the second-highest debut of 2018, after Drake‘s Scorpion, and is Scott’s second No. 1 album following Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight, which moved 88,000 units.
Sitting at second place is Drake’s Scorpion which managed to move 117,000 equivalent album units this week; sitting at third is Mac Miller’s Swimming having moved 66,000 units; and finally Post Malone’s beerbongs & bentleys sits at fourth place having moved 58,000 units.
