Tory Lanez Takes a Little Shot at Drake in a Freestyle

Tory Lanez visited Sway In The Morning and naturally, discussed Toronto and comparisons to Drake. He had no problem letting Sway know he wants that number one spot but interestingly also discussed he had actually written for Meek Mill, not verses but hooks.

Later in the show, as most MCs do, Tory freestyles on air and takes a quick jab at at the 6 God, in more of a Drake fashion. Instead of letting his Twitter fingers take over, he references a notable moment from 2009 in his verse, where Drake was caught reading lyrics of his BlackBerry while he “freestyled.” Check for it a couple seconds before the 18 minute mark.
