The Screen House Makes a Grand Space Look Homely and Inviting
Based in India.
The latest home to catch our attention is the Screen House in Ahmedabad, India. Created by The Grid architects and lead by Snehal Suthar & Bhadri Suthar, the 22,000 sq ft space was completed this year. The brief for the home was to make a hospitable space for a large family of a variety of age groups. The home is split into three separate spaces that are connected via design sensibilities.
In between those three spaces is a collection of semi-open spaces and plants which have all been selected so they grow to a low profile. The architect also wanted to have a focus on water, noting that it added reflection and made for a more picturesque building. Take a look through the gallery above to see the space for yourself.
In other news, the Tumble Creek cabin brings modernity to its mountainside surroundings.
