PLEASURES Unveils FW18 “Cowboys on Acid” Collection Lookbook
An eclectic mishmash of menswear codes.
PLEASURES returns to present its Fall/Winter 2018 lookbook, which hits its mark of touching upon a diverse cross-section of menswear codes. With a lush rural landscape set as the campaign backdrop, “Cowboys on Acid” exhibits a mishmash of streetwear styles, including ‘90s sportswear vibes, punk/thrasher accents, rugged workwear and upscale casual with western cowboy flair thrown in for good measure.
Employing an expansive tonal palette, spanning everything from powdery pastels to deep primary shades, lightweight outerwear, hoodies, and shirts embrace a kaleidoscope of prints, graphics, imagery and text, forming a well-balanced fall range. Standout items include the “Somewhere Between Utopia and Dystopia” striped shirt and the black & white zip jacket, spotlighting portrait imagery of past pop culture icons. The collection will make its way to a pop-up event at Nubian Harajuku on September 1 and online via HBX.
