Japan's SUB-AGE Delivers Punk Edge for FW18
Ripped tees, faux band shirts and spiked collars.
Following Spring/Summer 2018’s blend of punk ideology and classic clothing, SUB-AGE returns with a fresh variety of punk-inspired gear. Graphics play heavily into the Japanese brand’s collection, as usual, with horror movie and band tee-inspired imagery joined by stylized branding, “HEAD BANGER” prints and checkerboard patterns. Oversized cuts also figure into the selection, with massive bomber jackets, work shirts, sweaters and down vests layered insouciantly over knee-length shorts, baggy trousers and slit-hemmed jeans. Studded accessories and shoulder bags accompany the slouchy looks, with combat boots and hefty SUVSOLE sneakers adding appropriately weighty counterparts to the dense layers.
