Skrillex has teamed up with fellow OWSLA family member Wiwek to delve into the world of film. Alongside Canadian filmmaker Jodeb, the globally recognized producers have created their very own debut short, ‘Still In The Cage.” Scored by Wiwek’s The Free and Rebellious EP, the film tells the tale of a Thai woman who attempts to run away from the troubles of her home in Bangkok. Released today, the official trailer features their popular Elliphant collaboration, “Killa.” “Still In The Cage” is set to premiere August 17 at the Theatre At Ace Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles. Fans will be treated to a post-premiere Q&A and an afterparty hosted by both Skrillex and Wiwek. RSVP to the premiere here, and immerse yourself in the trailer above.
