SEGA Releases Story Trailer For 'Shenmue I & II' Re-Release
Learn how the games helped define modern gaming.
Ahead of the re-release of Shenmue I & II, SEGA recently released the first episode of the story trailer series, celebrating the return of the iconic games.
Accompanied by narration from voice actor Corey Marshall, who voices protagonist Ryo Hazuki, the clip goes over the plot of Shenmue and how it helped define modern gaming. Ever since the original release in Japan in 1999, and in North America in 2000, SEGA’s runaway hit has stood as one of the most revolutionary gaming titles with its layered storytelling and open world makeup. Set to feature both Japanese and English audio, choice of classic or modern controls, HD resolution, an updated user interface, controller and mouse/keyboard support, and new post-processing effects, the upcoming re-release will surely satisfy die-hard fans of the series.
Check out the first episode of the Shenmue I & II story trailer series above and look for the re-release to be available on Sony PlayStation 4, Microsoft Xbox One and PC come August 21.
