LA Lakers and NY Knicks Unite on Nike's Air Max 95 Premium
A mismatched colorway.
After appearing in a multi-pattern black rework, Nike‘s Air Max 95 returns with a mismatched Los Angeles Lakers and New York Knicks-themed colorway. This special pair features different team colors on each shoe’s lace eyelets — the right has NY Knicks blue and orange; the left has LA Lakers yellow and purple.
Each shoe’s tongue tab is decorated with an embroidered Air Max patch in the alternate team’s colors for a complete NYC and LA link up. The rest of the colorway sports a tonal black mesh and leather upper, embroidered mini Swoosh branding at the toe, a black Air Max sole unit, special NYC and LA insoles and a choice of yellow, purple, orange, blue or black laces.
Nike has yet to announce an official release date for this LA Lakers/NY Knicks-themed Air Max 95 Premium, so stay tuned for more info and let us know if you’re a fan in the comments below.
