Gonz Recreates Historic Skateboarding Performance in NYC
While debuting his “Aloha Super” adiStar silhouette with adidas.
In 1998, Mark Gonzales gracefully skated his way through obstacles inside the Städtisches Museum in Abteiberg, Germany for a historic performance. The legendary skateboarder recently recreated the moving art piece at Milk Studios in New York City. Clad in his new “Aloha Super” adiStar fencing shoe with adidas Skateboarding, Gonz masterfully mimics his decades-long tricks and it’s all captured in a new video that blends his latest performance with the old.
“The commemorative video celebrates two decades in the making and is a moving reminder of Gonzales’ pioneering vision that transcends culture and inspires generations,” said adidas Skateboarding in a statement.
