JUUN.J Drops a Boldly-Colored Chunky Leather Strap Trainer

Known primarily for eclectic layering techniques and expressive silhouette usage, South Korean designer JUUN.J has also made a name for himself on the footwear front, as was recently seen in his label’s Spring/Summer 2019 runway show. Recently hitting the shelves for retail is this boldly-colored chunky leather strap sneaker.

Fashioned from a combination of both leather and mesh, the uppers sport alternating hits of black, blue, off-white and a bright highlighter-style yellow, while the chunky two-tone rubber sole is split between an additional layer of blue, with white sitting directly below. The adjustable midfoot strap closure and heel pull tab add an extra layer of functional flair, helping to tie the look together.
