In this latest series of “WalkAbout NY,” Darryl “DMC” McDaniels invites Lee Hawkins on a tour through Hollis, Queens, the place where RUN DMC first started. As a youth growing up in Queens, he shows where they used to rap all day in an alleyway near his house where kids all the neighborhood kids came together.
