Barb From 'Stranger Things' Returns in New Netflix Film 'Sierra Burgess Is a Loser'

Following the sensation that was Stranger Things and the death of season 1 character Barb becoming a hashtagged meme, actress Shannon Purser has gotten her own Netflix film called Sierra Burgess Is a Loser.
The story follows Purser as the titular high schooler going through teenage insecurities as the popular girls make fun of her for her body type. But unlike some of her classmates, she’s not obsessed with the typical teenaged girl tropes. Suddenly, she gets a test from her high school crush confusing her with one of the popular girls Veronica. Both of them than team up to keep the catfishing charade up, becoming friends and blooming a romance either of them expected.
