Major Lazer Shares Inspiring New Video For "Know No Better" With Travis Scott, Quavo & Camila Cabello

The lead single off Major Lazer’s Know No Better EP, which was a surprise release last month, now has new visual interpretation featuring a daydreaming youngster who fulfills his dream of becoming a backup dancer for Major Lazer. The video was said to be inspired from a daydream director Philip Andelman had in his younger years saying he “used to space out all through high school about being the sickest guitarist in the world to impress girls, but all I could play in real life was a quarter-speed version of Slash’s (Guns N’ Roses) solo from ‘Sweet Child O’Mine.’”
Andelman went with this backup dancer concept to bring the old story into a more contemporary plot saying in a press release, “I thought it could be fun to do a video that married a kid’s daydream of being a Major Lazer backup dancer (i.e. the ultimate goal for any dancer out there) with the reality of quotidian ass-kickings and unbearable siblings.”
