Looks Like Ray J is Seeking Legal Action Against Kanye West for His "Famous" Video
“There’s too many times Kanye has done this”
It appears Ray J is on the verge of taking some legal action against Kanye West after claims of his likeness was being used in the Ye’s Famouscontroversial music video for “Famous”. In case you missed it, the video featured Kanye West and wife Kim Kardashian laying naked in bed alongside nude wax figures of Ray J, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Donald Trump, Caitlyn Jenner, Bill Cosby, George W Bush and Amber Rose. Last week, Ray J seemed pretty upset about the whole video and in this new interview with Heat Magazine, his business manager, David Weintraub, said they were exploring some legal actions:
‘We’re talking about potentially doing something because there’s too many times Kanye has done this, and you can’t really continue to use people’s likeness without either compensation or clearance.”
He also added:
“It seems to be becoming an issue – this is like the fourth time in six months he’s done this. We haven’t really worked anything out. There were kind of discussions but it’s getting old, so our legal team is working out what we want to do with everything.”
Stay tuned.
