Lauryn Hill Pushes Back & Cancels 'Miseducation' 20th Anniversary Tour Dates
Due to “unforeseen production issues.”
Lauryn Hill has pushed back and cancelled some dates of her Miseducation of Lauryn Hill 20th Anniversary tour. Five shows of the tour have already been performed, as the tour began earlier this month. Of the 22 remaining, five have been postponed or cancelled. The scrapped dates include one in St. Petersburg, Florida, two in North Carolina and one in Virginia Beach. Her show in Miami has been pushed back from July 31 to October 15. Live Nation cites “unforeseen production issues” for the cancellation and postponing.
During her set in Toronto, Hill allegedly showed up an hour late and performed for 45 minutes only. Although her set was short, she spent some time onstage calling out her live band and tech crew. She ended her set with her remix of Drake’s “Nice For What,” which samples Hill’s “Ex Factor.” This, however, is no surprise to many as in the past, Hill is known for showing up late to her concerts.
