Alexander Wang's Barcode-Inspired Capsule Is Now Available
A unique retail-centric inspiration.
Continuing his constant stream of releases, Alexander Wang recently released the first set of pieces from his eponymous label’s anticipated Barcode capsule.
Drawing from a unique retail-centric inspiration, the New York-based designer’s signature logo has been stretched to form vertical bars spaced at variable widths reminiscent of the ubiquitous tags found on consumer goods. Sticking to a distinct streetwear leaning, the special range is comprised of hoodies, T-shirts, track pants and socks, with a choice sportswear nod coming in the form of a basketball jersey. Available in black and maroon, the barcode logo-emblazoned Sports Tank Jersey comes accented by an AW flip girl patch, player patch at the hem and simple striped athletic ribbing.
Priced between $45 and $395 USD, the Fall 2018 Barcode capsule is available now online and at select Alexander Wang retailers.
