After years of fighting for the chance to play live at all, Giggs — the unwittingly controversy-courting, Drake-collaborating, SN1-leading, London MC — has marked the completion of his sold out Landlord tour with a new feature-length documentary film. Landlord Tour — The Movie follows Giggs across venues throughout the UK, culminating in a rowdy hometown show at Hammersmith’s Eventim Apollo — an event that will likely be remembered for years to come, as much by the crowd as by the artist, as the moment that a true pioneer of the UK rap scene was finally given the stage he deserved.
