All the controversies and incidents surrounding Drake and Meek Mill‘s infamous beef from last year have been well-documented, and now DJ Drama has finally spoken on his rumored part in the saga. Taking to HOT 97’s Ebro In The Morning program to give an interview and promote his new Quality Street Music 2 project, DJ Drama delivered a thorough response to a question about his role in Drake and Meek Mill’s beef. Explaining that everything “blew out of proportion” following one particular conversation, DJ Drama says the entire spat stemmed from a response to one of Meek Mill’s concerns following Drake’s “alleged sneak-dissing” on the “R.I.C.O.” line involving “The girl of your dreams to me is probably not a challenge.” Attempting to quell Meek Mill’s concerns over the bar, DJ Drama explained to Meek Mill that Drake probably didn’t mean any harm with the line because “those weren’t technically his bars.” The rest is history.
