When asked about the how EDM and Techno differ, Afrojack explains how their both a part of electric music but have two very distinct sounds and production. “Techno is like eight to 12-minute songs played on like 124, 125 BPMs so you can enjoy it for a longer time,” Afrojack says. He continues, “Techno is a more relaxed version or storying telling version of EDM music. The people in techno always like to think of they are a step ahead of EDM, they are always like, ‘Yeah you don’t get it,’ you have to get it.”
