adidas Originals Resurrects the TRX Runner With Two New Colorways
Coming in bright orange or tonal grey.
After its “Safari” pack with Nike and an orange Reebok ‘83 Ree-Cut, UK-based retailer Size? has teamed up with adidas Originals to resurrect a popular silhouette from its archive. Originally debuting in the 1970s as a lightweight running shoe, the TRX is arguably best known for the 1984 TRX Runner silhouette with Size? giving that model a fresh update for 2018.
The sneaker comes in two colorways, with a tonal grey version featuring darker primary panels with a lighter nylon underway. This is the contrasted with white leather three stripe branding and de bossed TRX Runner branding. The second colorway sees the sneaker wrapped in orange suede and nylon, with yellow leather touches on stripes and heel. This color palette also features on the silhouette’s shock-absorbent midsole. The pack will be available from the Size? web store and bricks-and-mortar locations on June 30.
