Nike‘s “The 1 Reimagined” women’s collection reinterpreted the Swoosh’s most iconic silhouettes, amongst it was the classic Air Force 1, which received a popular deconstructed rework dubbed the Nike Air Force 1 Low Jester. Having first debuted in a tonal “Violet Mist” colorway, the remixed classic now returns in a two-tone “Royal” and white scheme that better highlights the model’s distinctive design.

Nike’s Air Force 1 Jester is defined by its misplaced detailing. On this model, the AF1’s signature upper accents — the Swoosh branding, heel tab and tongue tab branding patch — have all slipped to the heel area, all the way to the mudguard and over the midsole. The rest of the sneaker remains the same, with small details like the perforated Swoosh outline where the branding patch is usually placed, as well as a blue outsole border to round out the simple colorway.

Check out the Nike Air Force 1 Jester “Royal” above and expect to see the model hit Nike’s online store in the coming weeks. Let us know if you’re a fan of this reworked AF1 and for more classics with a twist, check out the adidas Originals Superstar 80s “Varsity Letters” pack.
