Madlib To Work With Kanye West On His New Album

According to an in-depth LA Weekly story, Los Angeles-based beatsmith Madlib is likely to handle some production work for Kanye West’s upcoming album Good Ass Job. West reserved five of his beats – however, it remains to be seen if any of them will end up on the final cut of the album. Without offering any more details on the collabo, ’Lib simply stated that the MC/producer is a fan of his work—which includes tracks for Mos Def, Erykah Badu, Ghostface Killah, J Dilla, De La Soul and Talib Kweli, among others. As previously reported, Good Ass Job is due September 14th.
