Extra Butter & Kappa Celebrate the 2018 FIFA World Cup With “From Butter, With Love” Capsule
Inspired by Russian tattoo art and Cyrillic lettering.
To celebrate the arrival of the 2018 FIFA World Cup, which is scheduled to commence next week, streetwear outpost Extra Butter in tandem with Kappa recently aligned on an activewear-themed range, paying respects to the sport itself and the tournament’s host nation, Russia.
The lineup — highlighting both men’s and women’s looks — is comprised of long-sleeve crewneck pullovers and printed kits, as well as branded shorts and track pants in a variety of tones, including black, yellow, pink and green. Much of the imagery and typography emblazoned on the pieces draw creative influence from Russian tattoo art and Cyrillic lettering. The “From Butter, With Love” World Cup Capsule will make its debut online and in-store at Extra Butter starting June 9.
