With the 2018 FIFA World Cup just days away, adidas Football has revealed its latest GLITCH capsule of football boot skins for the tournament. The pack is made up of different skins for boots, which can be swapped depending on the player’s preference. The inner shoe for this release is an upgraded GLITCH 2.0 football boot, which features a new upper construction and an updated heel-loop.

The skins themselves are inspired by nation’s competing in the World Cup, with particular designs referencing Russia, England, Germany and France. Each of the graphics is influenced by the country, with a lion appearing on the England skin, the Fleur de Lis on France’s and an eagle’s claw on Germany’s. The two Russian designs reference traditional artistic techniques, including the design of St Basil’s Cathedral in Moscow. The full pack of skins is set to drop exclusively via the GLITCH app, and some of the designs will be worn by players including Paulo Dybala and Benjamin Mendy.
