SZA Pulled From TDE Championship Tour After Swollen Vocal Chords
Wishing the TDE songstress a full and speedy recovery.

Following a long-overdue breakout year stemming from the success of her critically acclaimed CTRL album, it now looks like TDE maybe without their first lady for an indefinite period of time. With their Championship Tour currently in full swing, the TDE founder Anthony Tiffith took to social media last night to regretfully inform fans that SZA has been ordered “to rest her voice to prevent any permanent damage.” The TDE songstress had already missed a pair of shows in New Mexico and Arizona after suffering swollen vocal chords. Despite these setbacks, Tiffith was promised fans he would make it up them: “She’ll see the doctor again in a few days and I’ll update you guys on her status,” while also adding, “As for the dates she missed, we’ll figure out a way to make it up to you guys.”
Meanwhile, if all goes well with recovery in the coming days, SZA loyalists will still be able to catch the her live in New York, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Toronto. Check out Top Dawg’s full statement below and see the remaining Championship Tour dates now on HYPEBEAST.
