Sia Unveils Striking "Unforgettable" Cover
Jaws will drop.
There’s some records that can be only described as timeless, and the classic 1951 song “Unforgettable” certainly falls into that category. Originally written by songwriter Irving Gordon at the very beginning of the 1950’s, “Unforgettable” was popularized by renditions performed by legendary talents such as Nat King Cole. For her recent performance on Ellen, Sia used her daytime television time to debut her own take on the iconic record. With previous covers coming courtesy of larger-than-life figures like Aretha Franklin and Marvin Gaye, Sia decided to cook up her own cover of the track in order to produce the theme song for the forthcoming, anticipated Finding Nemo sequel Finding Dory. Besides this effort, Sia will also soundtrack the film’s concluding credits. You can check out Sia’s rendition of “Unforgettable” above.
