A Look Inside Jeff Koons' "Now" Exhibition at Damien Hirst's Newport Street Gallery
Featuring a bevy of iconic Koons works from Hirst’s personal collection.
After waxing poetic on the display for the BBC, Jeff Koons and Damien Hirst have offered up a full look at “Now.” Curated by Hirst for his own Newport Street Gallery, “Now” follows the likes of “Power Stations” — which highlighted the works of late British abstract painter John Hoyland — and the opening of the unique Pharmacy 2 restaurant. Like the aforementioned “Power Stations,” “Now” pulls from Hirst’s personal collection, in this case showcasing works from throughout Koons’ career, including Popeye, Hulk Elvis and the “Inflatables” series.
Check it out above and, if you’re in London over the next few months, you can take a look at the works in person through October 16.
