Polo by Ralph Lauren Spotlights UK's Biggest Collectors in New CP-93 Film
Celebrating the label’s most dedicated fans.
To mark the arrival the relaunched CP-93 collection from Polo by Ralph Lauren, the label recruited London-based vintage retailer Duke’s Cupboard to showcase some of the UK’s most committed Polo collectors. The short film shines the spotlight on a selection of Ralph Lauren super-fans, documenting their lives and extensive Polo collections. The collectors chosen for the film include Jack and Heidi Murray (with their children Vincent and Shannon), Stephen Bryden and @suicideskier.
The video also reveals why the America’s Cup-inspired CP-93 collection is so important, with that era of Polo being notable for its “bold” colors and this release being a “nod to the people who started this in the ’80s in New York.” The collection itself encompasses windbreakers, trunks, pullovers and a take on the classic Polo shirt, with all of the pieces referencing the capsule’s nautical theme. The capsule is available now from select retailers including Selfridges and the Ralph Lauren web store.
