Gucci Mane Reveals Plans for Joint Project With Metro Boomin

Gucci Mane has announced a new joint mixtape project with super-producer Metro Boomin. The pair have worked together on songs multiple times in the past, and Metro has even called Guwop’s go-to collaborator Zaytoven the “godfather.” “Somebody dare me to drop this tape with metro ASAP…say I want do it!!!!” reads Gucci Mane’s Instagram caption. “Metro. Guwop. New tape 🚨 saynomo.” No official word yet has surfaced regarding the specifics of the project, so stay tuned.
In recent weeks, Metro Boomin has focused on new music with close collaborator 21 Savage and Boi-1da. In the past 24 hours alone, Gucci Mane has taken part in the new video for Migos’ “Slippery” and hopped on the official remix of Maroon 5 and Future’s “Cold.”
