Eric Koston Wants You to Prove You Can Do a Kickflip
The legend screams “Do a kickflip!” at unsuspecting skaters.
“I’m sure you’ve experienced this moment,” skating legend Eric Koston says to begin his new visual feature for the The Berrics. ”Where you’re skating down the street and some shit-for-brains yells out of his window, ‘do a kickflip!’” As Koston brashly puts it, he’s deciding to take on the role of that aforementioned “shit-for-brains.” The potential reward for willing participants: free merchandise. Heading to various sections of Los Angeles throughout the day, Koston and company get a couple talented kids to nail tracks and some more bewildered skaters.

Towards the beginning of the year, Koston helped Nike and Levi’s announce a new Air Jordan 4 collaboration.
