Currently on a promotional run for Solo: A Star Wars Story, the multi-talented Donald Glover recently took the time to sit down with late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel. During the interview, Glover opened up about what it was like playing the role of the charismatic Lando, a character he looked up to during his childhood. Glover also went on to discuss the advice Billy Dee Williams, who played the the original Lando, gave to him and how he broke the big news to his father. Watch it all above.
Donald Glover has been quite busy lately, having recently pulled double duty as both host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live as well as dropping a music video for “This Is America.”
Solo: A Star Wars Story, which also stars Alden Ehrenreich, Emilia Clarke and Woody Harrelson, lands in theaters on May 25.
