Bryson Tiller to Become Apple Music's First Guest Curator
Filling in as the service’s resident hip-hop and R&B tastemaker.

Bryson Tiller released True to Self, his highly-anticipated followup to his critically acclaimed debut Trapsoul earlier today — a month earlier than anticipated. In conjunction with the release, the singer-songwriter is announcing that he will be taking the role as Apple Music’s first guest curator on June 2. From June 2 to 9, Tiller will be filling in as the music platform’s resident hip-hop and R&B tastemaker.
Having worked with Apple Music on this for two-and-a-half years, Bryson will play his favorite projects and songs and curate five playlists, including a Grand Theft Auto-inspired set titled House Party on Grove Street. In addition to this, the crooner will also take over Apple Music’s #OnRepeat playlist songs that he has handpicked. This new idea is inspired by magazines that have their cover stars serve as a guest editor for the issue. Finally, Bryson will assist with the launch of DNA, a new series where celebrities and influencers will curate playlists based on their personal taste. Stay tuned for the inaugural episode of the series and stream his new album True to Self below.
