Aries Partners With Slam Jam for New London Pop-Up
Featuring exclusive drops from labels including Martine Rose, Thames & Vans.
London-based label Aries has announced plans for a new pop-up concept store in partnership with Italian distributor and retailer Slam Jam. Named “Planet Aries,” the two-storey space will feature new drops from Aries, as well as limited edition releases from labels including Ashley Williams, Martine Rose, Thames and Vans. Other pieces to drop at “Planet Aries” include merchandise such as iPhone cases and mugs and the arrival of an Aries x New Balance collaboration.
Speaking to WWD about the store, Aries founder and creative director Sofia Prantera explained that “the curation of the store reflects our high-low approach to fashion. I was working at Slam City Skates while studying fashion design at Central Saint Martins, and those worlds are brought together in our store.” Prantera also revealed that she was “excited about our “no problemo” branded merchandise, with graphics across everything from phone cases to tape, stickers and mugs.” Other features of the temporary store include jewelry, pottery, magazines and artworks from Blondey McCoy. The space is set to open its doors on May 10, and will run until June 8.
