Tragedy hit Manchester on Monday night, where a bombing took place outside of an Ariana Grande concert that left at least 19 people dead and 50 injured. Following messages of condolences sent by the likes of Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift, Harry Styles and others, Grande issued a short statement regarding the situation. It reads: “Tonight, our hearts are broken. We mourn the lives of children and loved ones taken by this cowardly act. We are thankful for the selfless service tonight of Manchester’s first responders. [...] We ask all of you to hold the victims, their families, and all those affected in your hearts and prayers.” In addition, Grande took to Twitter to give a short message, saying, “I am so so sorry. I don’t have words.” Read both statements below.
