Shlohmo Shares Haunting, Melancholic Remix of Groundislava's "Until Tomorrow"

It’s been quite some time since we’ve had a new original studio project from Shlohmo, but the incredibly talented Los Angeles producer-DJ has been sporadically dropping remixes in recent months. Following up last year’s Baby Bash remix, the west coast beatsmith has decided to cook up a rework of Groundislava‘s “Until Tomorrow” for his first major release of 2017. “‘Until Tomorrow’ is one of my favorite tracks on [Groundislava]‘s record,” Shlohmo tells FADER. “As soon as I heard the bass line change up at the end I knew I had to loop that line into the whole song and fuck it up.” A close associate of Shlohmo’s, Groundislava has worked alongside him in their local producer and DJ scene for years and has become a fan of the Wedidit artist. “”[Shlohmo] definitely has several distinct styles he works in, and it’s exciting to hear this track go from a bouncey electronic vibe to something raw and distorted. “[Shlohmo] definitely has several distinct styles he works in, and it’s exciting to hear this track go from a bouncey electronic vibe to something raw and distorted,” Groundislava explains to FADER.
