Ron English recently teamed up with the multi-creative platform, Compound, and Made By Monsters’ Chris Kong to release a special edition Ganja Grin sculpture for “National Weed Day,” simply known in cannabis culture as 420. The partnered collectible is an extension of English’s “Shocking Sunflower” and “Growing Grin” coveted figures. This time around, the sculpture portrays SpongeBob SquarePants as a sunflower with marijuana stems sprouting in the same pot-shaped vinyl. Moreover, it boasts a “Purple Haze” and “Sour Diesel”-inspired colorway.

Compound is also set to release gold and platinum versions of Ganja Grin. Each sculpture is hand numbered,  limited to 500 units, and will set you back approximately $650 USD each.  The full release is expected to go live on Compound’s website this April 20.
