It Looks Like iLoveMakonnen is No Longer With OVO
The honeymoon is over.
For months, rumors have swirled regarding iLoveMakonnen‘s the deteriorating state of his relationship with OVO. Originally, Drake swiftly scooped Makonnen up following the release of songs like “Tuesday,” and even jumped on a huge remix for the song and showed up for its video. Now, it looks like the Atlanta eccentric is officialy out of his OVO deal. A source is telling Billboard that Makonnen is no longer with OVO, and as HNHH notes, Makonnen’s Drink More Water 6 was not released under the OVO banner. As we await an official statement and confirmation, we’ll keep you posted. Just yesterday, iLoveMakonnen made news for something a lot more based. He’s also been releasing a lot of music in recent weeks and has yet another new project on the way.
