A Closer Look at Engineered Garments x Dr. Martens 1461
Coming in 6 military-inspired colorways.
With the joint shoe officially announced earlier this month, New York label Engineered Garments and Dr. Martens have given a closer look at the latest installation in their long running collaboration. The capsule sees Daiki Suzuki‘s brand take on the 1461 silhouette from Dr. Martens, with six military-inspired colorways of the low top shoe: “Milk Shake,” khaki, navy, “Oxblood,” black and white.
The stand-out feature of the shoe is the velcro strap used instead of laces, which has been chosen for its utilitarian aesthetic. Elsewhere, the shoe features a range of classic Dr. Martens features such as a branded heel loop, yellow stitching and durable Goodyear welt. The full capsule is set to release on April 29.
