BODYSONG Debuts World's Most Ludicrous Dad Shoe
Part ugly sneaker, part sandal.

Niche Japanese fashion brand BODYSONG emerges with an obtuse take on the ugly running shoe trend for Fall/Winter 2018. Teaming up with Japanese school shoe manufacturer JES, BODYSONG wapped one of the JES shoes with a series of adjustment straps. Dubbed the “Triple Fitting System,” tan and white leather bands cross the entirety of the shoe, backed with velcro for an adjustable fit and guaranteed unique look. The TFS sneakers retain standard JES features: thick laces, hardwearing outsoles and a lightweight upper are all carried over from the company’s normal youth sneakers.
The bizarre-looking walking shoes are for sale from Japanese retailers like HUKUMIKA for ¥37,800 JPY (about $350 USD). Watch BODYSONG’s off-kilter Fall/Winter 2018 runway collection video below to see the oddball sneakers in action.
Elsewhere Champion Japan dropped a more conventional range of Japanese goods.
