Birdman Sued by Jas Prince for Unsettled Drake Profits
The saga continues.
Back in late 2015, it was announced that Jas Prince allegedly settled an $11 million USD lawsuit against Birdman over Drake‘s royalties. However, it now looks like the case hasn’t actually been fully settled yet. Jas Prince has filed another lawsuit against Birdman for failing to pay Drake profits, in documents uncovered by TMZ. The suit states that Birdman isn’t following through to pay Aspire one-third of his Drake profits. In addition, another deal Drake signed under Birdman back in 2013 also breached the Canadian rapper’s initial agreement with Jas, which caused Aspire to lose $4 million USD. Sources say that Prince now owns a portion of Aspire. Check out the case in further detail here.
Recently, Supreme collaborated with legendary Houston rap label, Rap-A-Lot Records, which is founded by James Prince, Jas’s father.
