Bali Baby Is a Rockstar in "Backseat" Music Video
‘Baylor Swift’ drops May 8.
Bali Baby is back, sharing the video for her single “Backseat,” a single off her forthcoming full-length project, Baylor Swift, that drops on May 8. The self-proclaimed “pop-rock” Atlanta native is a rockstar in the new visual, which finds her at the center of attention. She alternates between exploring the city on a motorcycle and turning up with her friends. The video was directed by Erin Grant.
“I shot this video in the freezing cold weather for 12 hours straight and I’ll probably have frostbite in my fingers forever, but it is the hottest video out right now so it was totally worth it,” she says to FADER. “[It’s] definitely if Disney Channel let Avril Lavigne have her own series in 2001. I hope all my real rock stars enjoy!”
The 20-year-old artist broke out last year with “Banana Clip” and has been steadily gaining buzz throughout the year. Last month, Bali Baby released her Bali Blanco project and announced her tour dates.
