TIME Labels Kanye West, Drake & DJ Khaled as Three of the "Most Influential People on the Internet"
The rap game is running social media.

You might have already figured this one out a long time ago. In a newly-released piece, TIME seek to break down the “most influential people on the internet.” Specifically, TIME put the spotlight on 30 individuals from across the pop culture and social spectrum who the outlet believes are having the biggest impact in the digital world. Included in their 30 Most Influential People on the Internet are three artists who readers of this site probably know very, very well: Drake, Kanye West and DJ Khaled. Penning Kanye’s blurb, TIME’s Nolan Feeney says that Kanye has, “perfected the art of the Twitter spree, sharing candid thoughts that are often just as provocative—if not more so—than his music.” As for Drake, Feeney says the OVO rapper ”understands the power of a meme.” Samantha Grossman revisits The Verve’s labeling of DJ Khaled, defining him as “a meme in human form.” You can check out the full piece and list here.
