Migos, Solange, Rae Sremmurd & Lil Yachty to Perform at YouTube SXSW Showcases

YouTube is making its mark at SXSW this year with a very grandiose showcase. The video streaming platform will host a lineup of the music industries biggest heavyweights. Performers include Solange (March 15), Rae Sremmurd (March 16), Migos (March 17), Lil Yachty, Amine and more. Lyor Cohen, the global head of music at YouTube, says: “We’re going to have the loudest mics, best lights, best drinks and the best fans in all of Austin, which means we’re going to give artists the best time they’ll have all week.”
The “YouTube @ Coppertank” showcase will also serve as the venue for Sirius XM’s Sway in the Morning from March 16 to 17. In addition, YouTube will also host a virtual-reality demo to showcase its VR music videos.
