With the tragic news Phife Dawg’s passing continuing to spread, Mac Miller didn’t hesitate to the studio to pay tribute to the late A Tribe Called Quest member. On this new track, “5 Foot Assassin,” Mac (aka Larry Fisherman) chops up Phife’s rhymes from “1nce Again” and blends it with a throwback freestyle from Arsenio Hall. He then lays them over a somber backdrop that captures the mood on this sad day in hip-hop. Mac topped it off with a note, “RIP Malik Taylor. Thank You.”
