VERBAL and YOON debuted AMBUSH®‘s Fall/Winter 2018 collection at Amazon Tokyo Fashion Week, marking the Japanese label’s first ever runway show and serving as the official kickoff for the eventful week. As one would expect, the show was a high energy fusion of ’90s music, food, entertainment and — of course — fashion, which saw creative industry VIP pull through to spectate AMBUSH®’s “NoBo” collection.

Among the audience were Hiroshi Fujiwara, KAWS, MADSAKI, Kiko Mizuhara, Chitose Abe, Nick Wooster, Motofumi “Poggy” Kogi, J Soul Brothers, and Exile, who were treated to dinner boxes packed with cornbread and fried chicken cooked up by Bronx culinary masters Ghetto Gastro. No Vacancy Inn and Spaghetti Boys DJ’d the music, which gave the greenery-covered runway a charged grunge edge.

HYPEBEAST Japan had the chance to go backstage for a close-up look at the new AMBUSH® collection details and to capture the calm before the storm. Flip through the photoset above and be sure to follow our Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2018 coverage for the latest runway and designer content.
