After Beyonce released her politically-charged video “Formation” and performed a Super Bowl 50 halftime show that is equally racially themed, criticism came from all direction. In satirization, Saturday Night Live recently played a “trailer” for a faux movie titled The Day Beyonce Turned Black. Everybody but black people freak out the moment the find out she is indeed black (and a woman at the same time) in the same manner portrayed by an apocalyptic movie. Even though the plot is greatly exaggerated, it does hold merit and is regarded by many as one of the more impressive SNL skits in a while. Watch it above.
