A Tame Impala & ZHU Collaboration Is Coming
This is going to be intense.
SZA isn’t the only artist who has been cooking up in the studio with Tame Impala in recent months; as Billboard notes, enigmatic producer ZHU also has plans to drop a record with Kevin Parker‘s critically-acclaimed psych-rock act. ZHU broke the news during a recent set at Sony’s Tencent showcase in China, which was put together to commemorate the launch of the new electronic dance music label Liquid State. While details are scarce, expect this genre-blending cut to dominate the news-cycle on the day it drops.
Besides collaborations with each other, both ZHU and Tame Impala have been keeping busy handling other endeavors since dropping their latest respective projects. Besides ZHU and SZA, Tame Impala architect Kevin Parker has also been working on new music with Travis Scott. On his end, ZHU closed out 2017 with an Ekali collaboration for OWSLA.
